The Change of Command of SLAF Station Mirigama was held yesterday (06 April 2026) at the station premises. The handing-over/taking-over parade was conducted at the station parade ground, where the Acting Commanding Officer, Group Captain NP Udagedara MSc (Def & Strat Stu), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), psc, handed over command to Group Captain DGNB Senavirathne RWP, RSP and Bar, USP, MLRHRM, Pg Dip (Def Mgt), Pg Dip (Con & Pea Stu), psc, qfi.

The new Commanding Officer, Group Captain Senavirathne, previously held the appointment of Director of Academic Studies at the SLAF Academy China Bay, before being appointed as the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Mirigama.
