SEVA VANITHA UNIT SLAF BASE VAVUNIYA CONDUCTS DONATION PROGRAMME AT “SATHUTU” CHILD HOME
The Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Base Vavuniya conducted a community welfare programme yesterday (24 March 2026) at “Sathutu” Child Home, located in Saliyapura, Anuradhapura with the objective of extending support to children with special needs.
During the programme, assistance was extended to 30 children residing at the Child Home. As part of the initiative, lunch was provided for all the children and an entertainment session was organized to create a joyful and engaging atmosphere for them. In addition, dry ration items and sanitary items were donated for their daily use and gifts were also distributed among the children, bringing joy and encouragement while contributing to their overall wellbeing.
This meaningful initiative was a collective effort of the members and was made possible through the generous contributions from all the members of the Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Base Vavuniya. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Base Commander of SLAF Base Vavuniya, Group Captain Chandana Ratnayake.
